Gloucester Seacoast Renewal
Perched along the oceanfront in Gloucester, this expansive estate represents years of collaborative vision and dedicated craftsmanship. Entrusted with both design and construction, our team orchestrated this build in carefully managed phases, seamlessly linking the main residence to a multi-level guest house while navigating complex coastal site conditions.
Defined by custom structural engineering and a decade-long story of historic salvage, the build artfully integrates hand-carved 1870s millwork, local granite, and weather-resistant coastal materials. Explore the progress and completion galleries below to see how our design, millshop, and field teams brought this iconic North Shore retreat to life.
ARCHITECTURAL SALVAGE
Here, our millwork team is reviving an antique dining room sideboard salvaged from a historic Back Bay building where the clients previously lived, dating back to 1872.
Taking on a coastal estate of this scale has been a complex, multi-year undertaking. With each passing season, the structure evolved to seamlessly meet its oceanfront environment.
