Seat Summary
Manages remodeling projects on-site, partnering with the Director of Production, Project Manager, client, subcontractors, and other trades, coordinating all aspects of the project so that it is completed in line with the contracted scope, within budget, and on time. Has a comprehensive understanding of the project, advising and implementing efficiency at all times. Represents the company in a professional and proactive manner in all dealings with those associated with, and affected by, the building project. Ensures that work is carried out in a manner consistent with ABA’s core values and provides quality-control in every aspect of production on a given project.
Essential Knowledge, Skills & Experience
Substantial experience of the full life cycle of a number of residential remodeling projects, involving the supervision of the project and the staff working on it.
Construction Supervisor’s License, plus some site based work experience up to supervisory level.
MA CSL, RRP
Analytical skills to be able to understand and interpret complex technical specifications, drawings and documents and formulate plans from them.
Written communication to be able to write reports and complete paperwork/administration.
Numeracy skills, to enable scaling of drawings, checking measurements/angles, and doing calculations.
Verbal communication skills to enable effective communication at all levels, and able to develop good relationships with clients/client representatives
