The building's masonry and brickwork needed substantive repointing and restoration and some of the home’s original chimneys needed to be rebuilt in their entirety.

Installation of engineered beams allowed for the removal of claustrophobic bearing walls and made way for the installation of gracious arches connecting the kitchen and the dining rooms. New wall coverings, fixtures and custom built-ins are evident throughout, and the top floor bedrooms include new in suite roof decks with spectacular views of the Hancock and Copley Square.
