This opulent home had all the trappings of a manor estate, with the exception of the relatively small and dated kitchen and dining area and some serious water damage throughout. The clients saw this as an opportunity to achieve a conservatory-like living space with large, custom designed casement windows throughout, and two breathtaking skylights in both the kitchen and dining room.
Custom details were designed and crafted to match the quality and scale of the overall house, including radiant in-floor hydronic heating, as well as a heated countertop at the island.

Throughout the house, additional restoration and updating was necessary, including a new entry to mudroom sequence with custom built-in cabinetry, cleft slate heated flooring, and custom built-in cabinetry throughout.

Luxury extends to the formal grounds, where a Georgian-style detached garage was added to match the style of the house, and the spacious pool house was lovingly restored.
